Domaine de Lorient

France

Domaine de Lorient is a family-run estate in the hills of Saint-Péray in the Rhône Valley, owned since 2014 by winemaker Laure Colombo and her partner Dimitri Roulleau-Gallais. The domaine follows an organic polyculture approach, combining manual viticulture with no chemical treatments or additives. Its farming is integrated with a broader living ecosystem that includes forest and fruit trees, beehives, sheep grazing, Jersey cows, a vegetable garden, and wild foraging. The estate focuses on Roussanne and Marsanne for whites, along with Syrah in Cornas, reflecting an estate-led, hands-on approach rooted in thoughtful farming. No formal certification is cited.
