Clos l'Eglise

France

Clos de l'Eglise is a family-owned Pomerol estate run since 1997 by Hélène Garcin-Lévêque and her husband, Patrice Lévêque, who also serve as the winemakers. The vineyard is farmed sustainably and organically and holds High Environmental Value certification at level 3. Their philosophy treats terroir as a living organism to be cared for rather than exploited, with all work aimed at respecting nature and allowing the site to express its full richness and complexity. Patrice is described as deeply committed to the vines, while Hélène focuses on presenting the wines to the public. The estate is part of the family's wider group that also includes Château Barde-Haut and Poesia.
