Château de Cugat is a family-owned estate in Blasimon, Gironde, acquired in 1926 by the grandmother of current winemaker Benoît Meyer, who has managed it since the early 1990s. Its Bordeaux vineyard includes Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Muscadelle, with low yields and many vines aged up to 50 years. Since 2021, the estate has held HVE 3 certification, reflecting its sustainable viticulture. Benoît Meyer oversees the winemaking, producing cuvées including Cuvée Première and Cuvée Classique, aged in new and used Seguin-Moreau oak barrels.
