Quinta da Aveleda

Portugal

Quinta da Aveleda is a historic Vinho Verde estate in Portugal’s Minho region, owned and operated by the Guedes family for more than 11 generations, with family roots dating to 1870. Its vineyards and historic gardens surround a property focused on native Vinho Verde varieties and the diversity of local terroirs. Aveleda combines tradition with technical rigor and viticultural innovation, emphasizing attention to detail, freshness, and aromatic preservation through night harvesting and careful grape selection. Since 2025, it has accepted only same-day harvested grapes transported in tipping boxes, while its producer club supports close technical collaboration with growers. Sustainability and respect for nature are central to the estate’s approach.
