Mario Gagliasso

Italy

Mario Gagliasso is a family-run estate in Piedmont's La Morra, founded in the 1960s. Now owned by Mario, it farms about 15 hectares across several communes, producing roughly 60,000 bottles annually. The winery follows a certified sustainable 'Green Experience' protocol, using low yields, animal-origin fertilizers, and minimal chemicals. Winemaking is led by Mario's children, Luca and Nicoletta, who focus on traditional methods like spontaneous fermentation and manual punch-downs. The family also operates an agriturismo and restaurant, reflecting their deep connection to the land and hospitality.
