Clos Lapeyre

France

Clos Lapeyre is a family-owned estate in La Chapelle de Rousse, Jurançon, operated by Jean-Bernard Larrieu. Once a mixed farm, it has focused exclusively on viticulture since 1985. Its vineyard is organically certified and farmed biodynamically, with Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng planted for both dry and sweet wines. Late harvesting brings aromatic intensity, while native-yeast fermentations in stainless steel and lees aging shape the wines. The estate emphasizes natural, organic, and vegan-friendly winemaking.
