Château Favray is a family-owned Pouilly-Fumé domaine in the Favray lieu-dit of France’s Loire Valley, where the David family has been established since 1957. Quentin David revived the estate’s viticultural activity in the early 1980s, and Augustin David now operates it with Sophie and a qualified team. The domaine farms limestone soils planted with Sauvignon Blanc, using manual vineyard work, parcel-by-parcel harvesting, and practices described as organic. It holds Terra Vitis and HVE environmental credentials, with AB certification reported as expected for the 2024 vintage. In the cellar, thermoregulated fermentation and three to eight months of fine-lees aging support wines intended to express their terroir.
