Producer

Parra

Spain

Parra is a family-owned producer in La Mancha, founded in 1993 by brothers Francisco, Javier and Luis Parra, with a separate artisanal project started in 2011 by Pedro and Camila Parra. The estate farms certified organic vineyards, with biodynamic practices and additional vegan-friendly certification. Across the group, the focus is on organic, low-intervention winemaking, including unfiltered and unfined wines. Notes also mention cold-temperature fermentation and machine-harvested fruit for some wines. Winemaking has involved members of the Parra family including Francisco, Javier, Pedro and Pablo Parra, alongside Juan Antonio Ponce. The producer is known both for its large-scale organic estate and its smaller minimal-intervention artisanal work.
