Producer

Philip Lardot

Germany

Philip and Rosalie Lardot run this family estate in Germany’s Mosel, farming steep, hand-tended vineyards across small parcels, including historic sites that have been abandoned by more industrial viticulture. Their approach is traditional and low-intervention, with no chemical herbicides or fertilizers noted, and a focus on conscientious vineyard work and patient cellar handling. Wines ferment and age in neutral oak, with no fining or filtration and only limited sulphur at bottling for most cuvées. The range centers on Riesling, including single-vineyard expressions, alongside other varieties and some blended skin-contact whites, with an emphasis on purity and site transparency.
