Austria

Ebner-Ebenauer is a family-run estate in Poysdorf, in Austria’s Weinviertel, owned and operated by spouses Marion and Manfred Ebner-Ebenauer. With a history spanning fourteen generations and a 400-year-old cellar, the estate combines tradition with minimal-intervention winemaking. Its vineyards include small parcels on sandy, loess and ancient Danube gravel soils, producing Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and primarily sparkling wines. Viticulture is certified organic by Ecocert and biodynamic by Demeter, with hand-harvested grapes, stainless-steel fermentation and extended lees aging. Marion and Manfred both make the wines, bringing complementary perspectives to an expressive, site-focused style.
