Château de la Galinière

France

Château de la Galinière is a family-owned estate in Châteauneuf-le-Rouge, at the foot of Montagne Sainte-Victoire near Aix-en-Provence. Its organically certified vineyards lie on distinctive red, bauxite-rich clay-sand soils, with fully trellised vines protected from the Mistral. Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rolle and Viognier are harvested at night and vinified parcel by parcel. The estate combines traditional methods—maceration for reds and direct pressing with pellicular maceration for whites and rosés—with modern winery equipment and stainless-steel tanks to preserve aromatic freshness. It produces fresh, aromatic Côtes de Provence wines alongside elegant, mineral Sainte-Victoire expressions. With origins dating to Roman times, the property welcomes visitors for guided tours, tastings and educational experiences.
