Fidora

Italy

Fidora is a family-owned Veneto estate rooted in the Fidora family’s farming history and founded by Guido Fidora in 1974. Now run by the family with Emilio Fidora as winemaker, it farms across the Venice mainland, Valdobbiadene and Valpolicella, centered on the historic Civranetta estate. Fidora was an early pioneer of organic farming in Veneto, has been certified organic since 1974, and gained Demeter biodynamic certification in 2020. The estate is run as a self-contained, self-sustaining system, integrating vineyards with forest, crops and biodiversity, while using cover crops, biodynamic preparations and avoiding synthetic chemicals. Its wines range from Prosecco and Pinot Grigio to Valpolicella, Ripasso and Amarone, with a clear emphasis on nature-friendly, careful farming.
