Founded in 2010 in Navarra’s Yerri Valley by a group of partners including Navarre sports figures, Bodegas Aroa became majority-owned by the Riojan Vintae group in 2013. The winery farms organically certified vineyards and also practices biodynamic viticulture, focusing on Garnacha-based natural, sulfite-free wines. Its sustainability programme includes the Spanish Wine Federation’s “Wineries for Climate Protection” label, 100% renewable energy, lightweight bottles, natural corks, recycled cardboard and reductions in energy, water and waste use. Aroa’s wines reflect a clear commitment to organic farming and environmentally conscious production.
