Wölffer Estate

United States

Wölffer is a family-run estate in Sagaponack, New York, founded in 1988 by Christian Wölffer and now owned and operated by his children, Marc and Joey Wölffer, together with winemaker-partner Roman Roth. At the heart of the estate is a sustainably farmed vineyard cared for by Roman Roth and vineyard manager Rich Pisacano. Bridgehampton loam soils and Atlantic breezes create Bordeaux-like growing conditions, shaping a style defined by balance, ripeness, acidity, and food-friendly elegance with clear Long Island character. The estate emphasizes sustainable farming, and notes also cite Certified Sustainable status for its Long Island estate grapes.
