Esteban Martín is a family-owned winery in Cariñena, Aragón, founded in 2003 by Miguel Antonio Esteban and Asunción Martín and now involving three generations. Its vineyards lie in the Sierra de Algairén, on the stony red limestone soils of the Ebro Valley, where hot summers, cold winters and the Cierzo wind give the vines distinctive character. Family and sustainability underpin the estate’s philosophy of making honest, environmentally respectful wines. Thirty percent of the vineyards are certified organic, while 40% receive ozone treatments; pheromones are also used in sustainable viticulture. The winery is vegan-certified and holds IFS and ECO-PROWINE certifications. Its range includes Cariñena reds based on Garnacha, blends with Syrah or Cabernet Sauvignon, and white wines.
