Punt Road

Australia

Punt Road is a family-owned estate in Coldstream, in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, where the third and fourth generations of the Napoleone family farm estate vineyards. With grape growing on the property dating to 1860 and vines replanted in 1987, the winery has a strong connection to the region’s viticultural heritage. Certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia and audited for water, energy and waste management, Punt Road produces cool-climate, single-vineyard wines from varieties including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay and Shiraz. The winemaking approach is focused on minimal intervention, pristine fruit, and expressing the season, Coldstream site and terroir, with harvest decisions guided by flavour and acidity rather than sugar levels. Oak is used without overpowering the fruit, while the Airlie Bank range provides a more experimental and playful expression.
