Pojer e Sandri

Italy

Pojer e Sandri is a family-owned producer founded in 1975 by Fiorentino Sandri and Mario Pojer in Faedo, Trentino, between the Adige and Cembra valleys. Working with mountain and hillside vineyards on varied soils, the estate is known for a wide range of wines as well as grappa, distillates and vinegar. Its approach is holistic and strongly experimental, centered on organic principles, minimal intervention and respect for raw materials from plant to bottle. The winery uses indigenous yeasts, pursues non-oxidative winemaking to reduce sulphur use, and has developed innovations such as grape washing and controlled-atmosphere pressing. Its Zero Infinito project reflects this philosophy most clearly, using the ancestral method with zero chemical impact in both vineyard and cellar, including PIWI varieties.
