Barta Pince is a family-owned estate in Mád, Tokaj-Hegyalja, within the Tokaj UNESCO World Heritage area. Its vineyards include the historic Öreg Király and Kővágó sites, farmed organically since certification in 2018. The estate follows a low-intervention, natural approach, including spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, cover crops, composting, and natural pest control. Wines focus on terroir-driven Tokaj styles, including dry whites, sparkling and sweet wines. The winery is based at the historic Rákóczi-Aspremont Kúria, with partly rock-carved cellars, and is led by winemaker Vivien Újvári alongside estate manager Károly Barta and viticulturist János Hajdú. Tastings, vineyard walks, a wine shop, and a guesthouse connect the wines closely with their historic sites.
