Casado Morales is a third-generation family winery founded in 1925, with vineyards in Ribera del Duero and Rioja Alavesa. The family and staff are involved throughout the process, from vineyard work to bottling, guided by a strong connection to the land and a nature-focused philosophy. Its own vineyards, averaging over forty years old, lie on rugged slopes and ravines at 400–580 metres, where air currents help moderate summer heat. Grapes are harvested by hand only when fully ripe and healthy, then selected cluster by cluster. The wines reflect careful control of fruit, oak and bottle ageing, with French and American barrels used for maturation. The producer emphasizes the singular character of each wine and vintage, shaped by the vineyards’ soils, orientations and challenging terrain.
