Baldovar 923 is a small mountain winery in Baldovar, Alto Turia, Valencia, founded in 2016 by Nito Alegre and Francisco Bosco and now led by winemaker Sara Martínez Lagos. Working from the restored 1958 San Roque de Baldovar cooperative cellar, the project reconnects with the area’s historic cooperative legacy. Its high-altitude vineyards in the Valencia mountains are farmed with certified organic and biodynamic practices, with a strong emphasis on composting, ecosystem care, and expressing the local landscape. Old-vine Bobal and Merseguera are central, alongside other local varieties. In the cellar, Baldovar 923 follows a low-intervention approach, avoiding added chemicals and aiming for fresh, elegant, mineral wines shaped by altitude, geology, and place.
