Lis Neris

Lis Neris is a family-owned Friulian estate run by the Pecorari family since 1879, today led by owner-winemaker Alvaro Pecorari in the Isonzo Valley. Rooted in San Lorenzo, the winery emphasizes a close-to-nature, sustainable approach based on respect, patience, and low-impact vineyard work, with manual operations in the vines and clean energy in the cellar. Its gravelly plateau soils, Bora winds, and marked day-night temperature shifts shape wines of aromatic intensity and freshness. Lis Neris is especially focused on terroir-driven white wines, with occasional red IGT blends, aiming for wines that are powerful, elegant, complex, and expressive of this distinctive borderland landscape.
