Producer

Liberame

Chile

Liberame is a small-batch boutique producer from Chile’s Southern Region, reviving the Itata Valley’s wine tradition through heritage vines and natural pét-nat. Its organic viticulture includes century-old Moscatel bush vines planted mid-slope on thin clay over granitic rock, with organic certification currently being pursued. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented on their skins in concrete tanks, basket-pressed, and bottled under crown cap before fully dry, allowing a second bottle fermentation to create gentle pétillance. The wines are vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, with Leo Erazo associated with the project.
