Producer

Enrico Santini

Italy

Founded in 1998 by Enrico Santini, this small, family-run garagiste estate is based in Castagneto Carducci, in the heart of Bolgheri, Tuscany. Santini remains closely involved in the winery, which operates from a converted house and garage and farms vineyards in the Accattapane area. The estate was the first in Bolgheri to obtain full organic certification, reflecting its emphasis on sustainability and respect for natural rhythms. Its wines express Bolgheri’s Mediterranean climate and complex soils, combining Bordeaux varieties and other international grapes with Vermentino, Sauvignon and Sangiovese. Fermentation and maceration are handled with attention to terroir, followed by oak-barrel aging and further bottle refinement. Production is guided by quality, artisanality and authenticity.
