Eduardo Torres Acosta is an independently owned estate on the northern slope of Mount Etna in Sicily, founded by Tenerife-born winemaker Eduardo Torres Acosta after work with Arianna Occhipinti and Passopisciaro. Since 2014 he has been recovering old vineyards across Etna’s contrade, many planted in traditional alberello bush vines, with a high-altitude flagship site at Quota N. Farming is organic in practice, with biodynamic methods also mentioned, though without formal certification. In the cellar, in a converted garage winery, he follows a low-intervention approach with hand-harvested fruit, native yeasts, minimal sulfur and concrete aging, aiming to express Etna’s volcanic terroir through traditional, natural-leaning wines.
