Domaine Stéphane Ogier

France

Domaine Michel & Stéphane Ogier is a seventh-generation family estate in Ampuis, Northern Rhône. Currently led by Stéphane, who succeeded his father Michel in 1997, the domaine produces Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu and Saint-Joseph from mica schist, limestone and granite soils. The family practices sustainable viticulture with horse-drawn ploughing and organic methods without formal certification. Stéphane employs Burgundian-influenced, plot-by-plot vinification, emphasizing low yields and careful oak to craft elegant wines that express the unique character of each terroir.
