Domaine Robert-Denogent

France

Domaine Robert-Denogent is a family-run estate in Burgundy’s Mâconnais and Beaujolais, managed by Jean-Jacques Robert and his sons Nicolas and Antoine, who also make the wines. Founded in the early 20th century, with references to 1936 under Andrée Robert, the domaine works old-vine Aligoté, Chardonnay and Gamay across many dispersed parcels. Viticulture is certified organic and biodynamic, with manual harvesting, minimal to no chemical inputs, soil worked only under the vines, and an emphasis on biodiversity. The wines are presented as low-intervention, “living” wines, with low yields and use of diverse aging vessels.
