Domaine Niero is a third-generation, family-run estate in Condrieu, led by Rémi Niero since 2004. Working steep Northern Rhône terraces planted to Viognier and Syrah, the domaine produces AOP wines from Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie, Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage. Vineyard work is carried out by hand, with sustainable practices focused on soil health, biodiversity and landscape preservation; the estate has held HVE certification since 2019. Its winemaking emphasizes minimal intervention and terroir expression, including old-vine Condrieu from several distinct lieux-dits, aged in stainless steel and oak. The domaine’s history is closely linked to the revival of Condrieu, with Robert Niero among the passionate growers who helped maintain the appellation’s Viognier vineyards.
