Domaine Jean-Jacques Girard

France

Domaine Jean-Jacques Girard is a family-run Burgundy estate founded by Jean-Jacques Girard, with his son Vincent joining in 2008. The domaine cultivates Aligoté, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir across several Burgundian communes, with a traditional approach supported by modern technology and a strong respect for terroir. Its environmental commitment is reflected in HVE certification and Terra Vitis accreditation, alongside limited grass cover, moderate organic fertiliser use, strict pruning and selective green harvesting. Jean-Jacques leads the winemaking, with Vincent actively involved in the estate. The domaine’s wines have received recognition from Tastevinage and Vignerons Indépendants de France, and its Savigny-lès-Beaune was selected for the 2024 Olympic Games.
