Domaine de la Croix Senaillet

France

Domaine de la Croix Senaillet is a family-owned estate in Davayé, in Burgundy’s Mâconnais, run by brothers Richard and Stéphane Martin. Founded by their father Maurice Martin in 1969, the domaine farms Chardonnay on limestone-clay soils across parcels around the Roches de Solutré and Vergisson. Its vineyards have been certified organic since 2006, with minimal chemical treatments and a focus on soil health and terroir expression. The wines are bottled largely on-site and sold directly, reflecting the estate’s independent character. Its style ranges from fresh, mineral and elegant Mâcon-Davayé to richer, more powerful Saint-Véran cuvées, including wines blended from numerous parcels to express the appellation faithfully.
