Domaine Bonnard

France

Domaine Bonnard is a family-owned and family-operated estate in Sancerre, founded in 1956 from an initial 0.30-hectare parcel. Its vineyards, overlooking the Loire River, include Kimmeridgian marl, caillottes, and flint soils, with additional holdings in Pouilly-Fumé. Bernard and Pierrette Bonnard remain involved alongside their daughters Martine, who oversees viticulture, and Claire, the winemaker. The domaine produces Sancerre white, red, and rosé wines as well as Pouilly-Fumé, vinifying different terroirs separately before blending.
