Domaine Baud Génération 9 is a ninth-generation family estate in Le Vernois, in France’s Jura, run by Clémentine and Bastien Baud. Rooted in family history dating back to the 18th century, the domaine works across the Côtes du Jura, Château-Chalon and L’Étoile appellations and is certified Terra Vitis as well as affiliated with Vignerons Indépendants. Farming and winemaking emphasize respect for soil life and biodiversity, with traditional methods passed down through generations: whole-bunch harvesting, careful sorting, no crushing, static pressing, low-temperature vinification, slow alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, and oak aging. The estate produces a broad range of Jura wines including Crémant, Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau, Vin Jaune, Vin de Paille and Macvin du Jura.
