Comte Armand is a single-owner family estate based in Pommard, Burgundy, with ownership in the Comte Armand family since 1828 and roots reaching back before the Revolution. Centered on the Clos des Epeneaux monopole and parcels in Volnay and Auxey-Duresses, the domaine farms organically and biodynamically under Ecocert certification, with a strong focus on faithful expression of terroir. Vineyard work includes sustainable practices such as avoiding herbicides and synthetic treatments, alongside plant-based preparations and biodiversity measures. The estate has been shaped by successive cellar masters including Pascal Marchand, Benjamin Leroux, and today Paul Zinetti. The wines are noted for precision, with a style that evolved from density and structure toward greater finesse and purity.
