Château de la Font du Loup

France

Château de la Font du Loup is a family-owned Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate held by the Melia family since 1942 and now run by fourth-generation Anne-Charlotte Melia-Bachas and her husband Laurent Bachas. Based in the southern Rhône, the domaine farms its vineyards organically and is certified HVE level 3, with a strong focus on biodiversity through practices such as beehives and sheep grazing. Its vineyards form a rare contiguous holding on north-facing, predominantly sandy soils at a high point of the appellation, with Mistral influence and a natural spring helping preserve freshness. Parcel-by-parcel vinification and careful élevage aim to express terroir with wines known for finesse, elegance, balance, and freedom from over-ripeness.
