Casa Baricalino

Italy

Casa Baricalino is a small family-run estate in Novello, in Piedmont’s Langhe, founded in 2014 by Omar and his family. Around three hectares of vineyards surround the house, planted to Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Chardonnay and Nascetta on marly, clayey-calcareous soils. The family works from vineyard to cellar using integrated farming with low environmental impact, guided by respect for nature, local tradition and a desire to produce wines with character. The range includes Barolo, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, Langhe Nascetta del Comune di Novello, Langhe Rosso and Spumante Brut. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with aging in tonneaux and barriques. The estate also offers rural hospitality, tastings and vineyard visits, creating an intimate connection between its wines, landscape and family life.
