Founded in 1964 in Manduria, Puglia, Pliniana is a member-owned, family-run cooperative bringing together more than 360 winegrowers in the Primitivo di Manduria DOP area. Its vineyards lie on the calcareous soils of the Manduria plain, with a strong focus on Primitivo alongside Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera, Sangiovese and several white varieties. The winery combines respect for Salento’s traditions and identity with research, innovation and meticulous vineyard and cellar work. Its wines, including Primitivo di Manduria DOC and Salento IGT bottlings, are described as elegant, decisive and rich in personality, expressing the character of Apulia. Pliniana also offers winery tastings by appointment and has received recognition from international competitions and critics.
