Bortolomiol

Founded in Valdobbiadene in 1949 by Giuliano Bortolomiol, Bortolomiol remains family-owned and is now led by his four daughters, Maria Elena, Elvira, Luisa and Giuliana, who oversee the estate’s viticulture, winemaking and administration. The winery focuses on Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco, combining Giuliano’s pioneering work with continued attention to vineyard selection and innovation. Family vineyards began conversion to organic farming in 2008 and are now certified organic; the estate also follows low-input practices and a Green Mark protocol for suppliers. Its environmental work includes an Environmental Product Declaration for Ius Naturae, biodiversity projects involving old Glera vines, and woodland conservation near Monte Cesen. At Parco della Filandetta, a restored former silk mill, wine, agriculture, art and cultural projects come together.
