Champagne André Heucq is a fourth-generation family grower in Cuisles, in the Vallée de la Marne, with a strong focus on Pinot Meunier and the village’s distinctive green illite clay soils. Founded in 1936, the domaine remains in family hands and is run by André Heucq with his daughter Fanny. The estate is ECOCERT-certified organic and works biodynamically, with horse ploughing, natural preparations, and close attention to soil health, nature, and lunar cycles. In the cellar and vineyard, the approach emphasizes manual, artisanal work and environmentally conscious practices, including energy self-sufficiency, rainwater collection, natural ventilation, and water recycling. The wines are made in a pure, terroir-driven style, with particular attention to Meunier’s mineral character and aging potential.
