Viña Caeira is a small, Albariño-focused winery established by Carlos Moro in 2022 in Salvaterra de Miño, within Rías Baixas’ Condado de Tea subzone. Owned and operated by Carlos Moro and Bodegas Familiares Matarromera, the project seeks to express the character of Albariño and the granitic, Atlantic-influenced terroir of Galicia. Its vineyards include vines trained on traditional high pergolas and granite pillars, with grapes also sourced from small regional parcels. Sustainability and innovation are stated as guiding principles, although no specific certifications or farming practices are reported. The wines are described as fresh, elegant and balanced, with a clear focus on pure Albariño expression.
