Subida di Monte

Italy

Subida di Monte is a family-owned estate in Cormòns, at the heart of Friuli-Venezia Giulia’s Collio, founded in the 1970s and now run by the Scarpa family. Its hillside vineyards lie on Ponca marl soils, with terraced slopes, natural ventilation and a temperate sub-continental climate. The estate grows both native and international varieties, harvesting exclusively by hand and using low-impact products selected with attention to human health, biodiversity and natural cycles. Since 2021, collaboration with agronomist Giovanni Bigot and Perleuve has brought a scientific, data-led approach to vineyard health and environmental sustainability. The winery combines tradition with innovation, following a limited-production philosophy focused on expressing the character of the Collio each year.
