Founded in 2004 in Riomaggiore, Possa is a family-owned estate run by Samuele Heydi-Bonanini, working the steep, historic terraces of Cinque Terre. Vineyard work is entirely manual, preserving dry-stone walls and a fragile landscape shaped by sea, stone and intense light. The estate follows biodynamic and low-impact practices, avoiding synthetic chemicals, encouraging biodiversity through beekeeping, and using limited treatments. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentations are used when possible, with restrained sulfur, wood, amphorae and steel chosen according to each wine. Possa’s wines are natural, fresh and saline, marked by mineral tension and a direct expression of their maritime terraces. The estate also supports local educational initiatives and the Sciacchetrà del migrante project, combining viticulture with community and landscape preservation.
