Manischewitz is a large-scale winery in Canandaigua, New York, producing Concord-based wines through a highly time-critical process known as “Kosher Crush,” during which the harvest is crushed and fermented within a single week. Equipment is koshered before use, and bottling takes place under strict Rabbinical supervision with Orthodox Union (OU) certification. Now owned by E&J Gallo, following its acquisition from Constellation Brands, the brand operates with the resources of a major global beverage corporation. Senior winemaker Joyce Magin leads the winemaking team.
