Fratelli Barba

Italy

Fratelli Barba is a family-owned Abruzzo estate operated by seven brothers, with roots in the Barba family’s long agricultural history. Its 68 hectares of vineyards lie on the hilly ridges of the Vomano River, in the Colline Teramane DOCG and Montepulciano and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC areas. The winery, built in 1991, combines advanced technology with a focus on the estate’s vineyards. The wider farm includes olive groves, woodland, livestock and agricultural production. Since 2007, photovoltaic systems have generated renewable energy, while the dairy operation follows the Stalla Etica® principles of animal welfare and circular economy. Wines from the estate have received recognition from numerous Italian and international guides and critics.
