Château Yon-Figeac

France

Château Yon-Figeac is a Right-Bank Bordeaux estate privately owned by Alain Château since 2005 and managed through Vignobles Alain Château. Its viticulture follows agriculture raisonnée, with sustainable practices in place since 2011, ISO 14001 and HVE 3 certifications, manual vineyard work, and traditional ploughing. Winemaking is overseen by consultant oenologist Christophe Ollivier, combining temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats with 12 months of barrel ageing, including 30–40% new French oak. The estate’s approach emphasizes environmental management, careful vineyard work, and a traditional yet structured cellar style.
