Château Laroze is a historic Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé estate, classified since 1955, with family roots in local winegrowing dating back to 1610 and the estate founded in 1882. Managed by Guy Meslin and owned by Allianz since 1986, it farms a single vineyard site and bottles at the château. The house style centers on purity, balance and regeneration, with careful parcel-by-parcel vinification, gentle extraction, and élevage in barrels and jars. Vineyard work emphasizes biodiversity and ecosystem health through ploughing, cover crops, organic amendments and no herbicides, alongside a five-year organic conversion plan. Certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AFNOR Engaged CSR, Château Laroze combines historic Saint-Émilion stature with a clear sustainability focus.
