Suriol Winery is a long-established family estate in Grabuac, Penedès, managed by the 16th–17th generation of the Suriol family, chiefly Francis and Assís Suriol. Its estate vineyards are certified organic by CCPAE and farmed biodynamically, without synthetic pesticides or herbicides, with a strong focus on biodiversity and low-input viticulture. Solar power and locally sourced glass support its sustainability efforts. Winemaking by Assís Suriol includes spontaneous fermentation and the use of stainless steel, amphorae and concrete tanks. Based at the historic Castle of Grabuac, the estate also maintains traditional cellars and offers accommodation, vineyard walks, tours and tastings.
