Producer

Albert Bichot

France

Albert Bichot is a long-established family-owned Burgundy house, founded in 1831 and now led by sixth-generation Albéric Bichot. Based in Beaune, it works across six estates from Chablis to Moulin-à-Vent, producing both domaine and négociant wines. The house is fully organic, with Ecocert certification for the vineyards since 2014 and wine-level organic certification from 2020, alongside HEV certification at its Chablis vineyard. Its approach emphasizes terroir, careful work from vineyard to cellar, and as non-interventionist a vinification as possible, with sustainable practices including biodiversity measures, lighter bottles, and recycled packaging. Winemaking is overseen by Technical Director Alain Serveau and Head Winemaker Christophe Chauvel.
