World Wild Wines is the Dão project of Carlos Raposo Vinhos, a boutique Portuguese producer based in Nelas and owned and run by winemaker Carlos Raposo. Sourcing early-picked fruit from old vineyards in Terras de Senhorim and Serra da Estrela, including Touriga Nacional and centenarian vines, the focus is on fine, elegant and precise wines made with a minimal-intervention approach. The range is structured in three tiers, with élevage in stainless steel, French oak and concrete. Raposo brings broad international experience and a background in viticulture and oenology, shaping a thoughtful, terroir-driven style rooted in some of Dão’s coolest vineyard areas.
