Villa Schinosa is a family-owned estate in Trani, Puglia, run by Corrado Capece Minutolo of the aristocratic Capece Minutolo family. Its winemaking history draws on traditions passed down through generations, while Corrado combines them with modern technology and a focus on authenticity. Grapes are sourced exclusively from the estate’s vineyards, including distinctive southern varieties such as Moscato Reale di Trani, Uva di Troia, Bombino and Primitivo alongside international grapes. Viticulture is SQNPI-certified, chemical-free and moving toward organic certification, with natural fertilizers, no chemical herbicides and evening or night harvesting. Winemaking is overseen by Cristoforo Pastore and Giuseppe Pizzolante. Historic cellars carved into Pietra di Trani complement the renewed winery, and the estate welcomes visitors year-round for tours and tastings.
