Italy

Ventolaio is a family-owned and family-run estate in Montalcino, led by Luigi and Maria Assunta Fanti with their sons Baldassarre and Manuele. With approximately four generations of farming history, the family continues to pass on its agricultural values while producing Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, and other Sangiovese-based wines. The estate states that it follows organic farming practices, though no certification is identified. Brunello is aged in approximately 30-hectolitre Slavonian and French oak casks in a modern cellar that incorporates traditional Montalcino methods.
