Founded by Bruno and Giuseppina Bolfo in the late 1990s, Vallepicciola is a family-owned estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga, at the heart of Chianti Classico. Its vineyards occupy around 109 hectares across distinct zones, with biodiversity and careful, limited vineyard treatments central to its approach. Sustainability is formalized through Italy’s VIVA certification and participation in the Vigneti Plastic Free project. Winemaking is led by Alessandro Cellai, who is also general manager, and combines respect for territory with precision, tradition, and innovation. A modern gravity-flow winery, completed in 2020, supports the production of Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT wines, including expressions intended to convey the elegance, freshness, and identity of the Tuscan landscape.
